Appreciation of works
Huai Su Shujiao reflects the spirit of hard work of the ancients. Therefore, Ke dyer likes this theme very much.
The figure paintings of the same period all have the meaning of "reciting the feelings". Mi Fu's infatuation, Huai Su's diligence in learning, and Jia Dao's bitterness are all spiritual qualities praised by Li Keran. Painting these historical figures also reflects his own ideals in life and artistic pursuits.
The figure paintings of Ke dyer in his later years have thick lines and a sense of solidity.
Huai Su in the painting is a bit like Lu Zhishen, but the dyer's humor is often unexpected. (Wan Qingdai published in "The World of Li Keran" published in 2000)
