Thousand islands wetland scenic spot

Thousand islands wetland of Weishan Lake is located in Jiangsu Pei county where  also enjoy the famous reputation of  "thousand years of dragon flying, origin of emperors". It is the hometown of emperor Gaozu Liu Bang with rich historical and cultural resources, which enhance a kind of imperial power for the vast boundless scenery of Weishan Lake thousand islands wetland. Thousand islands wetland mainly make use of the original river system, swamps, paddy field and give priority to the plant landscaping, stressing on the nature rustic charm and fully displaying the ecological, landscape and recreation character, which has great value of ecological protection and leisure tourism. At the same time, the Beijing-Hangzhou Grand Canal pass through the thousand islands wetland and formed a distinctive landscape of "canal on the lake". Thousand islands wetland in Weishan has been rated as "Jiangsu Weishan lake lakeside provincial wetland park ", and also was listed as the key project of Xuzhou "twelfth five-year" plan. In 2012, Thousand islands wetland in Weishan lake by its good ecological wetland resources and huge development potential made three major promotion: Weishan lake lakeside national wetland park （pilot）, Jiangsu provincial tourism resort and key projects of Jiangsu province modern service industry. October 16, 2014, Thousand islands wetland in Weishan lake was rated as national AAAA scenic area. Thousand islands scenic area by Huanghengchang Group to carry out the development plan which mainly focuses on the ecological restoration and protection,with a total investment of RMB1.6 billion. Our current development is in the north scenic area, covers an area of about 6.5 square kilometers, the central area is 8.3 square kilometers and the south area is 3.5 square kilometers. The central and south area are constructed and developed orderly and designedly. After the construction of scenic spot all completed, the area will become the largest wetland scenic area in Weishan lakeside and become the city garden of the cities of Xuzhou and Peixian county, also the scale of natural oxygen bar, which not only can exert the urban green lung function, but also become an ecological barrier in the eastern part of city.
