Xuzhou Pizhou Museum

The original museum of Pizhou was completed and opened in November 1988, covering an area of 4000 square meters. It is a national AAAA level tourist attraction. The museum has a collection of over 5000 cultural relics, including bronze, jade, pottery, porcelain, stone, bone, gold and silver, bamboo and wood, and literature archives.
The new building of Pizhou Museum was constructed in 2003, opened in 2006, and implemented an exhibition and display project in 2019, organically integrating functions such as cultural relic display, research and learning experience, public sightseeing, and leisure shopping.
The renovated and upgraded Pizhou Museum has a total construction area of 13000 square meters and an exhibition area of 4000 square meters. It has three basic exhibition halls: "Dongyi Zhaoshi", "Ancient Xu Wangdu", and "Changhe Liuyun", as well as two special exhibition halls: "Western Jin Heritage" and "Jade Leaving Kungang". With a total of over 5000 pieces (sets) of cultural relics in its collection, it tells the spirit and charm of Pizhou for six thousand years.
