Guliyuan Scenic Area in Pizhou City, Xuz

The Gu Li Yuan Scenic Area in Pizhou is located in Paoche Street, Pizhou City, 6 kilometers away from the administrative center of the new area. It is a national AAA level tourist attraction and a provincial-level Gu Li Forest Park. The ancient chestnut orchard covers an area of 8 square kilometers and is mainly planted with dried and fresh fruits such as chestnuts, ginkgo biloba, peaches, pears, hawthorn, etc., with a vegetation coverage rate of over 98%. The core area covers an area of 1000 acres, and the chestnut trees in the park are all real chestnuts, maintaining their original ecology to this day. After research, it has been found that ancient chestnut trees were planted during the Qianlong period. There are over 3000 ancient chestnut trees with a tree age of over 300 years, over 3600 trees with a tree age of over 200 years, and over 10000 trees with a tree age of over 30 years. In addition, there are scattered chestnut gardens of varying sizes in the surrounding area, with a total area of over 10000 acres.
