Dadongshan Scenic Area in Xuzhou City

The Dadongshan Scenic Area consists of five parts: Buddhist cultural area, cultural freehand brushwork area, leisure and sports area, leisure and entertainment area, and commercial shopping area. The Dadong Mountain at an altitude of 361 meters in the scenic area is the highest peak in Xuzhou and the second highest peak in Jiangsu. The main peak of Dadong Mountain is surrounded by nearly a hundred peaks of various sizes, commonly known as 99 Lotus Mountains, of which 12 have an altitude of over 200 meters and a regional area of nearly 60 square kilometers. There are numerous trees and lush greenery in the scenic area, with over 10 lakes of various sizes and a water area of over 2000 acres.
After years of construction, Dadongshan Scenic Area has been named "Provincial Forest Park" and "Provincial Geological Park", and has been awarded multiple honorary titles such as "Top Ten Spring Flower Appreciation Holy Land" in Jiangsu Province and "Top Ten Most Beautiful Scenic Spots" in Xuzhou City. In June 2014, it was successfully created as a national level "AAAA" scenic spot. At present, the annual reception of tourists is about 500000, with the highest daily reception of tourists being about 50000. The influence and popularity of the scenic area are gradually increasing, and it has become a popular new hotspot for leisure tourism in Xuzhou area.
