The scenic area is located in the southwest of Erba Village, Dashahe Town, Feng County. It is the first stop of the old Yellow River entering Jiangsu Province and also the source of the Baisha River. The scenic area starts from Provincial Road 254 in the east, extends to the Fengdang border in the west, reaches the old Yellow River in the south, and reaches the Dasha River in the north, with a total length of 8.1 kilometers and a total area of 381 hectares. The Dashahe Wetland was approved for construction by the State Forestry Administration in 2014, following the policy of "comprehensive protection, scientific restoration, rational utilization, and sustainable development". Through systematic wetland protection, restoration, and the creation of biological habitats, it has gradually nurtured a rich wetland ecosystem and diversified wetland resources, forming a unique wetland ecological environment landscape of Dashahe. It is an area with concentrated biodiversity and high productivity, Composed of a vast gene pool of species. We have established a model for the protection and restoration of wetlands at the source of the Yellow River's ancient channel, constructed an ecological barrier for the Qingshui Corridor of the East Line of the South to North Water Diversion Project, and created a base for the cultural inheritance and promotion of the Yellow River's ancient channel, becoming a beautiful scenery in the ecological civilization construction of Feng County. In 2019, it passed the national wetland park acceptance, and in 2020, it was approved as a national 3A level tourist attraction.
