The old site of the Fengxian County Committee was built during the Republic of China period, located 240 meters northwest of the Zhanghoutun Village Committee in Shouxian Town, Fengxian County, Xuzhou City. It was the office of the County Committee during the early period of the Liberation War.
In early 1930, the first party branch of Feng County was established - the Communist Party of China Yin Xiaolou Party Branch. From 1930 to 1934, the former county party secretary Zhang Qigong and other leading comrades worked here, but later stopped working due to betrayal by traitors. The Local History of Fengxian County of the Communist Party of China records that in June 1940, the Fengxian County Committee of the Communist Party of China established an anti Japanese democratic regime and base in the northern part of Fengxian County, and openly carried out anti Japanese democratic armed activities. However, the southern part of Fengxian County still belongs to enemy occupied areas, and the party organization is in an underground state, which can only carry out secret activities. According to the different situations in Fengnan and Fengbei, in August 1940, the Su Lu Yu District Party Committee's Xiaoliuji Meeting decided to establish the Communist Party of China Fengnan County Working Committee and Fengbei County Committee in the south and north of Fengxian respectively The Communist Party of China Fengnan County Working Committee worked until March 1941, and the Communist Party of China Fengbei County Committee worked until August 1943. At that time, the Fengbei County Committee of the Communist Party of China was still known as the Fengxian County Committee of the Communist Party of China. Due to years of disrepair, the walls are broken and only the original courtyard and east house remain. In the early days of liberation, the old site was used by the Wu family, but later due to lack of attention, the old house was destroyed by rainwater. The former site of the county party committee was repaired in 2000 with the care of the county party committee, office, bureau, and local party committee and government. It was made of blue bricks, gray cloth tiles, brick and wood structures, with a tall entrance and an exhibition hall 0.4 meters above the ground. The displayed items included office supplies from the time, notices, documents, and other physical objects from that time. Specifically, there was a Eight Immortals table, two chairs, a lantern, a military kettle, a wooden bed, and a cooking board used in the past One Hongche, one spear, as well as 22 photos and two documents. In 2004, it was finally repaired and improved. It currently covers an area of 420 square meters, with a construction area of 152 square meters. There are 3 main rooms (exhibition halls), 2 auxiliary rooms, and 1 lobby gate. The heroic battle stories of the martyrs in Fengxian have been included in the Fengxian volume of the Jiangsu Province Heroes Genealogy.
